LHJMQ: The Remparts are being demolished in Rouyn-Noranda

The Quebec Remparts were taught a hockey lesson when they lost to the Huskies 5-1 in the Maritimes Quebec Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) in Rouyn-Noranda on Friday night.

The visitors from Quebec were literally bombarded throughout the game, with the Huskies directing a total of 46 shots at goalkeeper Vincent Filion.

Despite everything, the Remparts held out until Danill Bourash made his first breakthrough into the Quebec wall in the middle phase.

Although the visitors responded less than five minutes later, the Huskies didn't give up and continued their momentum to return to the locker room with a one-goal lead.

It all finally came crashing down in the third period, first with Bourash's second goal of the game, then with two goals in 52 seconds – including one into an empty net – with less than four minutes to play.

For the Remparts it is the third defeat in a row, while the Huskies returned to winning ways after two defeats.
