Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas announce they’ve finally decided on a name for their new baby three weeks after giving birth
Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas have named their new baby after welcoming him into their family three weeks ago.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy, 30, shared the news with her Instagram followers after admitting they found it “really difficult” to choose a nickname for their newborn.
During a Q&A session, a fan asked, “Have you given her a name yet?” to which Lucy excitedly replied, “We did!!!!!!!!”

Though she didn’t reveal the little girl’s name, she promised her followers they wouldn’t have to wait long.
She wrote, “I’ll post her name x later.”
Meanwhile, during the same Q&A, Lucy revealed that her daughter was born with a tongue tie.

The condition, which is common, means that a shorter strip of skin connects the tongue to the bottom of the baby’s mouth.
When asked about breastfeeding, Lucy replied, “It’s pretty full.
“She eats a lot and I don’t think she seemed happy and we noticed that she had a tongue tie.
“So we got it cut and I hope her diet improves and becomes more efficient.
“Also I’m working on her lockdown as she’s not that great. I think the hardest part is that I can’t give Roman my full attention when I spend a lot of time feeding him.’

Lucy went on to say that her daughter was born seven days past her due date weighing 8 pounds 7 ounces.
It comes after Lucy announced she gave birth at the end of May this year.
She shared a black and white picture of the little girl’s hand on her Instagram page.
Adding to her stories, “She’s here.”
Lucy previously said HELLO! Magazine that she was convinced she was pregnant with a girl and was delighted when a scan confirmed her suspicions.
“I had a hunch I was having a girl, but I was a little more unsure than I was with Roman. With him, I just knew – I don’t know why, but before we found out I said, “I know for a fact it’s a boy,” Lucy said.
The couple also revealed in the interview that they struggled to come up with names for their daughter.
They explained that they had chosen a long list of 15 but would wait until she was born to decide.
Lucy and Ryan, 38, are also parents to son Roman, two, while Ryan is father to daughter Scarlett, 13, from his relationship with Tina O’Brien.
