Mariana disgraces João Pedro again and divides the Inocêncio family · TV

João Pedro (Juan Paiva) will have problems with his father not only because of the marriage between José Inocêncio (Marcos Palmeira) and Mariana (Theresa Fonseca) in Renascer. The union will also lead to a dispute between the youngest son and José Bento (Marcello Melo Jr.). The bad boy will tease his younger brother when he realizes he is in love with Mariana.

In scenes set to air this Friday in episode (16) of Globo's nine o'clock soap opera, the wedding is about to get married, but João Pedro will avoid the ceremony, preferring to continue working and stepping on cocoa. José Bento will speak to his brother in a critical tone.

“Why don’t you come to the party?” he will ask. “I’m busy,” Juan Paiva’s character will respond. “It seems like you are jealous of Mariana!” the person seeking interest will provoke.

At that moment, João Pedro will stop kicking the cocoa and look at his brother with hatred. “Take back what you said!” he orders, holding Bento by his shirt. “I didn’t say anything…” the older man will try to avoid.

“I talk more than my mouth… And I talk nonsense!”, João Pedro will warn. Bento then realizes that the youngest has feelings for his father's fiancée. “And did I know you liked her?” he will say.

Zinha's girlfriend (Samantha Jones) will say that this is no longer the case, and the brother will then be sure that he is in love with Mariana. João will tell Bento to leave and continue to glare at him.

“That’s right, little brother… Let’s not fight,” Marcello Melo Jr.’s character will say after the damage is done. He will leave the youngest alone and João Pedro will be sad. “She's the one who wanted him… What can I do?” he will lament.

Renascer was written and created by author Benedito Ruy Barbosa. The first version was broadcast on Globo in 1993. Bruno Luperi is the writer's grandson and is responsible for the adaptation of the rural saga, which premiered in prime time in January. The remake will air until September.
