The fourth episode of “Amore Criminale”, which will be broadcast on Thursday December 7th at 9.20 p.m. on Rai 3, focuses on the femicide of Marianna, a 43-year-old woman killed in Padua by her ex-boyfriend .
Marianna works as a worker in a factory, she is the shift manager in her department. Luigi, the ex-boyfriend, is a temporary contract worker in the same company. When she meets him, Marianna notices his reserve, and after a short time the two begin a relationship that soon leads to living together. But the differences in character soon become noticeable: Marianna likes to go out, meet friends and travel, while the man, on the other hand, seems cold and lonely. The relationship between the two becomes increasingly complicated until it deteriorates.
One day, Luigi decides to end his relationship with Marianna and demands the return of all the gifts he has bought for her over the years.
It is June 8, 2019, when Marianna is waiting for Luigi’s arrival together with her colleague Paolo (who is present as a witness when the items are returned).
That day there is a heated argument and Luigi stabs Marianna 19 times and kills her. He also hurts Paolo. The man was sentenced to twenty years in prison for the murder of Marianna and the attempted murder of his friend Paolo. The sentence is final.
