Mario Frias Posts Photo of ‘The Godfather’ Says Mafia Family Represents Him

The former Secretary of State for Culture, Mario Frias, who is running for election to the House of Representatives, posted a photo of the film “The Godfather 2” on his Twitter page this Saturday, alongside a quote from Goethe, and wrote that the sentence and the image defines him.

Played by Robert De Niro, the character portrayed in the photograph is none other than Don Corleone, perhaps the most iconic gangster in cinematic history.

Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, the sequel follows the origins of the icon lived in the first film, Marlon Brando, chronicling his journey through Italy and the birth of his children through the process of establishing himself as a notorious criminal in the United States.

“No matter what my life, how difficult my day or my week has been, I know my rest awaits me at home,” the former Bolsonaro government secretary said of the ItalianAmerican assassin.

The article concludes with a quote attributed to the German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, author of The Sorrows of Young Werther, a famous story about suicide. “It is the happiest man, king or peasant, who finds peace in his home.”

Frias’ candidacy as federal deputy for the PL, President Jair Bolsonaro’s party, was marked by attacks on famous artists such as Daniela Mercury and more recently by the false theory about the existence of a mythical city in the Amazon called Ratanabá, conveyed by the same businessman, who claimed to be ET Bilu’s interlocutor.
