‘She’s in a real EastEnders conspiracy’: Soap star Max Bowden’s pregnant ex-girlfriend feels ‘humiliated and disrespected’ by his relationship with co-star Shona McGarty.
Soap star Max Bowden’s pregnant ex-girlfriend was “humiliated and disrespected” by his new relationship with his co-star Shona McGarty.
Roisin Buckle, 37, who is expecting her first child with Max, described her “rough few weeks” as she shared some glowing photos of her growing baby bump on Instagram on Friday.
The mother-to-be was “heartbroken” when photos of the actor leaving Shona’s house surfaced earlier this month following their recent split.

Alongside snaps from a pregnancy photoshoot, Roisin wrote, “It’s been a rough couple of weeks but I’m so lucky to have so many supportive friends and family around.”
A source told The Sun: “It’s been awful for Roisin, she feels humiliated and disrespected. She is expecting a baby and although she is a strong woman, she feels very disappointed.
“She never expected Max to move on so quickly. She believed they were taking a break and taking time out of their relationship to work out their differences.

They continued, “During that time, she didn’t believe he was involved with anyone else. She’s always been such a private person and now feels like she’s at the center of a real EastEnders conspiracy.
Roisin and Max’s representatives were contacted by MailOnline for comment.
Max, who plays Ben Mitchell, and Roisin confirmed their romance last October – five months after they met. Throughout their romance, the couple largely stayed out of the spotlight.

It comes after sources claimed Shona and Max had looked “very cozy” on set recently, but were told they are not “officially dating”.
In photos from The Sun, Max was seen leaving the Hertfordshire property as sources claim the couple have “grown closer”.
Onlookers saw Max drive his black BMW down Shona’s street and enter through a wooden fence at the back of her home.
Later that evening Shona came to the garden gate to collect a take away meal from a delivery driver.

In March, Max and Shona put on a cozy show while having fun at a country music festival held at the O2 Arena in London.
Shona is believed to be single, having split from her fiancé, electrician Ryan Harris, in January 2020.
Max split from insurance manager Roisin earlier this year, but the couple are said to have been “delighted” at the prospect of becoming parents and found out they were expecting it a while ago.
