Mission: Impossible Reckoning Part 1 has the highest rating of 2023 on Rotten Tomatoes

2023 was not an easy year for the film industry as many productions received poor reviews from review critics or became box office failures as was the case with The Flash.

Anyway, we still have a lot of productions to come this year, like Barbie, Ophenheimer and so on. Though the new movie Mission: Impossible didn’t garner as much attention as its competitors, it surprised everyone this week by becoming the toprated movie of the year on Rotten Tomatoes, a platform that collects reviews and creates a rating based on them.

Mission: Impossible Reckoning Part 1 hits Brazilian cinemas on July 13th and as the name suggests it will be a big storyline event starring Tom Cruise.

Given that the veteran starred in one of the most critically acclaimed films of 2022, Tp Gun: Maverick, it’s clear that everyone is excited to see him back in action. Apparently he managed to live up to expectations.

So far, the feature film has earned a 98% score from 118 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the highestrated film of the year so far.

On his Twitter, Cruise shared the process of capturing one of the lengthy scenes, underscoring his commitment to performing risky action scenes without the use of stuntmen.

It’s worth noting that the new “Mission: Impossible” will be released a week before Barbie and Oppenheimer, leaving Cruise with a difficult task of topping the box office of these two giants.
