Nutritionist and mother Sheridan Austin shared the recipe for her nutrient-rich home-made chewing gum, which promises to be more effective than store-bought vitamin pills.
To make delicious homemade chewing gum, Sheridan uses 1.5 cups of water, 1 cup of fruit (recommended mango, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries or a mixture of all) and 4 tablespoons of gelatin.
She also recommends a sweetener of your choice to taste like monk fruit, stevia, maple or honey – although she does not recommend this for children. Additional optional food bombs can be used, such as 1 tablespoon of liposome vitamin C and quercetin.

Nutritionist and mother, Sheridan Austin, shared the recipe for her nutrient-rich homemade chewing gum, which promises to be more effective than store-bought vitamin pills
To make delicious homemade chewing gum, Sheridan uses 1.5 cups of water, 1 cup of fruit (recommended mango, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries or a mixture of all) and 4 tablespoons of gelatin
Sheridan first mixes 1 cup of water, fruit, sweetener of choice and food bombs and then sets it aside.
Then combine the gelatin and the remaining 1/2 cup of water and stir until granules or bubbles are visible.
She then poured gelatin into the fruit mixture and stirred with a spoon, but warned not to mix the mixture as this would create foam and bubbles.
She then simply pours the liquid into molds and places them in the refrigerator for a few hours to set completely.
She also recommends a sweetener of your choice to taste like monk fruit, stevia, maple or honey – although she does not recommend this for children. Additional optional food bombs such as 1 tablespoon liposomal vitamin C and quercetin may be used.
Sheridan then poured gelatin into the fruit mixture and stirred with a spoon, but she warned against mixing the mixture, as this would create foam and bubbles.
“You totally want to know gelatin, because it’s one way to get the amino acids you’ll also find in collagen and bone broths,” Sheridan said.
She also explained that amino acids make up collagen in the body, support the immune system and the detoxification process and help heal the intestinal mucosa and skin, support the strength and growth of nails and hair and much more.
“But why stop there when we can make them thicker with nutrients by not only adjusting what we add to them, but HOW we make them!” She added. “This recipe is truly revolutionary.”
“Making your own chewing gum ensures that you can choose what to focus on, for example, when you or your little ones need improved immune support, you can add liposomal vitamin C and / or quercetin to lower histamine, slow down viral replication and reduction of inflammation.
Sheridan also offers steamed vegetables or mashed vegetables and then added gelatin for various nutritional needs.
