More than six million people have been displaced by the war in Sudan

Recently, World Food Program (WFP) Sudan Director Eddie Rowe warned that the rate at which hunger in that country has increased over the past year is alarming.

According to this United Nations agency, almost 18 million people are already at risk of food insecurity, most in Khartoum, Darfur and Kordofan, indicating that the crisis is rapidly evolving.

The clashes in Sudan erupted on April 15 due to contradictions in the middle of the process of integrating the Rapid Support Forces into the armed forces, led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, vice president of the Sovereign Transitional Council (CST), chief of the army and president of the CST, Abdelfata al Burhan.
