We had a total of three sub-4.3s recorded, led by Baylor’s Tyquan Thornton, who recorded unofficial 4.21which will be a combine harvester record if left.

Like CBS Sports NFL Draft expert Chris Trapaso points out that the very fast 2019 class featuring Deebo Samuel, AJ Brown and DK Metcalf had nine receivers taken in the first two rounds. We can see more than what was chosen in 2022.

Calvin Austin III is impressive

Sky Moore of Western Michigan raised an eyebrow Thursday. While he weighed 5 feet 10 and 195 pounds, he had huge 10.25 “hands and was running 4.39 Dash for 40 yards. That wasn’t all, as Moore looked extremely smooth going through the glove and had some impressive downhill routes. He is ready to climb up the project boards.

As for Christian Watson of North Dakota, he is 6 feet 4, 208 pounds, has 10 1/8-inch hands and has driven 4.28 Dash for 40 yards. He also beat all the receivers in the wide jump with 11’04 “and slipped through the glove. Buzzing in the first round?
