Thanks to a very inspired performance from quarterback CJ Stroud, the Houston Texans qualified for the second round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday night.
The Texas team largely won against the Cleveland Browns by a score of 45 to 14.

Stroud was particularly relentless in the first half, racking up 236 yards through the air and three touchdown passes. He also became the first rookie in NFL history to achieve such a feat in the first 30 minutes of a playoff game.
Even though his opponent Joe Flacco usually shows excellent performances in difficult matches, this was not the case on Saturday. He totaled 307 passing yards and also had two interceptions.
The start of the game was particularly lively and it was even the Browns who scored the first major of the game thanks to Kareem Hunt. The latter repeated itself at the start of the second quarter, giving his team a 14:10 lead. However, the Texans later woke up when they reached their opponent's end zone five times without answer.
Brevin Jordan, Dalton Schultz, Steven Nelson, Christian Harris and Devin Singletary scored touchdowns for the local favorites.
