A Portland transgender activist is facing numerous charges for allegedly dumping and searching a teenager’s car after claiming she was “transphobic.”
Vivian Shemansky, 44, reportedly went into a frenzy after 17-year-old Jade parked near her tent in a parking lot on August 27. After Shemansky allegedly first threw a stick at her, the teen returned to her car shortly afterward. It took 10 minutes to find it covered in human waste and every window smashed.
The teen’s mother, Lisa Thomasson, told The Post Millenial that her daughter “burst into tears” when she discovered her wrecked car, which was written off due to the heinous act as police deemed it a “biological hazard.”
Portland Police Sergeant Kevin Allen told that Shemansky already had two warrants out for her arrest when she was taken into custody, but Thomasson claimed she was released the same day as she awaited a court date.
Shocking footage showed the car was covered in human debris and shattered glass
The victim’s mother said she was at a loss for words to describe the feeling after discovering the heinous act which saw the car destroyed as it was classified as a ‘biological hazard’.
The sickening incident came as residents of Portland, Oregon, continue to denounce how vigilantism policies have led to widespread homelessness and outdoor drug use.
Thomasson, 45, said she barely recognized the city despite having lived in the subway all her life and complained about how a soft approach to crime had put her daughter in grave danger.
“I just thought what could have happened to my child if that person had taken out the frustration on her,” she said.
“There is no accountability for people who break the law. “It puts our community and the home we grew up in at risk.”
Allen told that police were called to the scene after reports of vandalism, where Jade told them she parked her car and left it for “a short period of time.”
As she went to do some thrift shopping, she realized she had accidentally parked next to a tent in the parking lot, according to a GoFundMe account set up by her mother to fix the broken car.
She claims a stick was thrown at her, which left her “a little confused” and caused her to “pick up her pace” across the parking lot. After stopping for just 10 minutes to get something to eat, when she returned to her car she saw that her windshield was shattered.
Before investigating further, she called 911, thinking that was the extent of the damage. When police arrived, they realized her car had been the target of the heinous act.
“Their car was shattered on all four sides.” Every piece of glass was shattered. “There was human waste throughout the car,” Thomasson wrote. “I still don’t have the words to describe this feeling.”
She added that police had confiscated a metal steering lock believed to have been used in the attack.
Vivien Shemansky has a lengthy criminal record that includes a number of arrests and two previous convictions, and there were two warrants for her arrest at the time of the alleged vandalism
Shemansky has documented her struggles with gender dysphoria on social media, often criticizing “cisgender bigots” in her posts
Thomasson added that three days before her daughter’s car was attacked, the vehicle’s rear window was broken in a theft, which she said is a prime example of the city’s out-of-control crime epidemic.
“We should be able to feel safe in the city we grew up in,” she added.
Jade reportedly identified Shemansky to police after the incident, and footage showed a suspect being dragged away by police in a low-cut crop top and shorts.
Shemansky, born Eric Neil Bowen, was quickly released from prison as part of a “supervised pretrial release” after being booked into the central precinct for just a few hours.
The lenient response is consistent with Portland police’s vigilance after its force struggled amid the “Defund the Police” movement. The city has one of the highest crime rates in the country and official statistics show that there were over 13,000 cases of vandalism and 60,000 property thefts between July 2022 and July 2023.

Shemansky, who appears to be a tramp, often shares bizarre music sessions on social media while playing the guitar, with one of her instruments (not pictured) emblazoned with a note that reads, “Fuck your fascist beauty standards.”
The hasty release also came despite Shemansky having a long criminal record, including several previous convictions.
In September 2015, she was convicted of assault on a public safety officer, and in March 2019, she was convicted again of fourth-degree assault and sentenced to one year in prison. It is unclear whether this sentence was carried out or whether she was granted early release.
She also reportedly broke the law while posing as Eric Bowen, and in October 2012 she was allegedly arrested and charged with rioting before the case was dismissed by a judge.
In a post on her Instagram account, Shemansky condemned doctors for not granting her a “fat transplant” because it is not considered gender-affirming surgery
Shemansky frequently rants about transphobia and has documented her transition on social media, including a post in which she criticized doctors for not granting her a “fat transplant” because it wasn’t considered gender-confirming surgery.
In her Instagram bio, Shemansky says she’s a “trans girl living in a world of transphobia,” adding that she “wears her heart on her sleeve and I’m a little bit sleazy.”
Other posts show her condemning “cisgender-transphobic fanatics,” with one saying, “If you think being a woman is all about having a vagina, then you don’t know anything about being a woman!”
The report also includes bizarre hour-long music recordings, including some of her playing guitar with a note reading, “Fuck your fascist standards of beauty.”
Shemansky’s grand jury indictment is scheduled for Sept. 19. They face charges of first-degree criminal mischief, unauthorized vehicle use, second-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree disorderly conduct.
