At his first conference as the new coach of the Chilean team, Ricardo Gareca spoke about the challenges he will face with his new squad, as he will play his first three games against complicated teams: against the France by Kylian Mbappé in a friendly match; in front of him Peru by Jorge Fossati in the Copa América; and against them Argentina by Lionel Messi for the 2026 South America qualifiers.
