Ayda informed her social media followers on Sunday about an accident and an emergency trip to the hospital after she was rushed to the hospital.

She imagined herself being treated with an intravenous infusion while lying on a hospital bed with a mounted heart monitor visible on the wall behind her.

Addressing the incident with Instagram followers, Ayda thanked her husband for his support after she fell ill following a night out in Los Angeles.

In the caption of her post she wrote: “After a picture-perfect evening, a anything but picture-perfect ending.” Now I'm back and resting. Thank you to my wonderful husband @robbiewilliams for being by my side.'

The night before, Ayda had enjoyed a night out with Robbie, 49, at popular Beverly Hills restaurant Cipriani – where they were joined by Dame Joan Collins and her husband Percy Gibson.

Robbie is linked to Dame Joan through the British actress' late goddaughter, Milica Kastner.

Milica, the daughter of American film producer Elliott Kastner and famous British interior designer Tessa Kennedy, died of terminal cancer in March 2021 at the age of 49, two years after she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and stage 4 uterine sarcoma.

Robbie and Milica became close friends after the film producer moved in next door to the Take That star when he lived in Notting Hill.

Milica also revealed that while she was pregnant with her son Jack, people assumed the baby was Robbie's.

“While I was in LA, I got pregnant by one of my oldest brother's friends, Cary Woods,” she recalled.

“When I moved back to London pregnant with Jack, everyone thought the baby was Robbie’s – but we were and have always been just friends.”

Robbie and his wife Ayda are parents to daughters Teddy (11) and Coco and sons Charlie (9) and Beau (3).

The couple largely keeps their children out of the public eye, with Teddy recently making a brief appearance in the singer's Netflix documentary.

Her eldest child also got a taste of the spotlight in 2018 when she was a flower girl at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding.

Ayda previously admitted it was her idea to document the birth of the couple's second child through a series of bizarre social media videos that went viral online.

The American star spoke about her experience giving birth during an appearance on Loose Women, as she revealed she encouraged her fun-loving husband to “fool around” to take her mind off the pain.

The birth of son Charlie was caught on camera as the former Take That star posted a series of bizarre videos and pictures showing him in hospital in Los Angeles with his wife.

She explained that many people didn't believe she was actually in labor when the videos and snaps were shared online, insisting: “I actually gave birth, I have to say for poor Rob he got a lot of criticism had to take it, but it was my idea.” .

“We didn't set out to do this, it started with me jokingly putting my heels on, putting them in the stirrups and him asking to tweet it.”

Robbie shared videos of the two dancing in her hospital room and him singing his hits while Ayda was in labor.

“It was 3am, the contractions lasted 17 hours. “It distracted me, we thought up all sorts of fun things,” Ayda told her Loose Women colleagues.

“It's our sense of humor, we're silly.” But I didn't think about it going viral. About an hour after the birth, a lady walked past us and said, “Oh my God, these videos are so funny!”

“Then a cleaning lady told us she had seen us on Spanish TV that morning and another said we were on Good Morning America and I said, 'Honey, what happened?'
