Romantic dinner at… IKEA: Meatballs on the menu for Valentine's Day – Le Journal de Montréal

As Valentine's Day approaches, restaurants have already started displaying their special menus celebrating love… and IKEA is no exception, as the eatery is reportedly offering lovers the chance to celebrate with its classic meatballs.

“Feel the love this Valentine’s Day at IKEA,” reads a recent statement on the Swedish furniture giant’s website, releasing a “Valentine’s Day Dinner for 2.”

So the company would offer a “three-course meal” for couples or families who want to try their popular meatballs in demi-glace sauce, Mediterranean salmon or even their vegetarian meatballs, as we can read on their website, for one price from $34.99 for two people.

Currently, seven of the 14 establishments offering romantic dinners in Canada, including Montreal's IKEA, are already sold out for the evening, but there is still room at branches in Boucherville and Quebec, as well as in Etobicoke, Ontario.

“Tickets can only be purchased at the Swedish IKEA restaurant. Please note that no tickets will be sold on the day of the event or in the queue before the event,” the Swedish company said.
