For the President of the Central Council of Quebec-Chaudière-Appalaches (CCQCA), this data shows that the employer is struggling with a shortage of workers.
“It also tells me that we have a problem with retaining workers and attracting people, because if there are shifts that are worked as overtime, then the need is there.” The solution lies in drivers and better working conditions. Without that, we won’t be able to hire employees,” announces Barbara Poirier.
The RTC declined to comment on the case on Monday.
