Radio-Canada announced on Thursday the title and some details of this new program, which will air in 2024-2025 on the VERO.TV section of ICI TOU.TV EXTRA and subsequently on ICI TÉLÉ.
Eight one-hour shows are planned, which will be filmed in an “intimate and relaxed atmosphere” and in which the two presenters and three guests will talk together about their memories of the art world. Each episode will have its own theme and highlight a notable personality, but one who is less present in the media today.
“I Was Waiting for You” is ultimately intended to be a great embrace of our popular culture, a highly entertaining event punctuated by tender or ironic allusions to past fashions,” writes Radio-Canada in a press release.
Véronique Cloutier and Jean-Sébastien Girard invite the public To for the recording of the show, which will begin soon at the Espace Saint-Denis. The original idea for the show was developed by Jean-Sébastien Girard and Charles-Alexandre Théorêt in collaboration with Productions KOTV Inc., who are responsible for the production.
Remember that Véronique Cloutier returned to television in 2017 by presenting her beautiful program live together with Jean-Sébastien Girard. The live-filmed variety show did not achieve the expected ratings. It only lasted one season.
