Hundreds of properties in Quebec change hands every day, most of them without knowing the details. That was before anyone cared… Here are the latest transactions that caught our attention.
A homeowner from Baie-D’Urfé, a small community on western Montreal Island, just sold her home for $4.25 million, six times the price it paid seven years earlier.
With an area of 250 m2 (or 2,691 square feet) on one floor, 695 Westchester Street sits on a large lawn lot of 2,075 m2 (22,337 square feet).
Built in 1964, this residence was purchased by the seller in August 2016 for $635,000. Seven years later, Anna Argento sold it for another $3.2 million.
At its most recent appraisal, this residence was valued at $1,730,400 million, up 41% from the value it was given three years earlier. A transfer tax of $62,093 will be added to the purchase price for buyers.
