A New Jersey woman was arrested by police after she mowed down seven pedestrians in a bloody hit-and-run in Manhattan just before midnight.
The 29-year-old driver crashed her black Honda Accord into pedestrians at the crosswalk between West 36th Street and 6th Avenue around 11:55 p.m. Sunday, leaving six men and a woman on the road.
Illustrative images and videos of the episodes show several victims on the ground – many of them unconscious and covered in blood.
NYPD told that the motorist ran a red light before hitting people crossing the street – six men, aged 24, 27, 28, 30, 32 and 61, and a 34-year-old Woman.
The victims are believed to be mostly New Yorkers, including a tourist or two.

They were taken to area hospitals, with the exception of the 30-year-old man, who refused to go there, police said.
An NYPD spokesman said her injuries ranged from “general pain complaints to a broken leg.”
Meanwhile, the motorist continued to drive about 13 miles before colliding with two other vehicles on the Long Island Expressway in Clearview, Queens.
The NYPD said the Belle Mead woman remains in custody and has not yet been charged.
Miraculously, all pedestrians and other motorists involved in their killing spree are expected to survive.

“I took water and tissues from them to clean everything. “It was a very dangerous accident,” he told Pix11.
