In front of a packed National Stadium, Sporting Cristal hosted the Celeste afternoon this Sunday, where it presented the squad that will compete in the Liga 1 2024 and the Copa Libertadores.
All fans celebrated the departure of each member of the Rimense team and had the opportunity to express their full support to the new additions such as Quembol Guadalupe, Fernando Pacheco, Diego Enríquez, Santiago González, Gustavo Cazonatti and Martín Cauteruccio.
“Although it is a presentation game, the idea is to have a great game. “We are preparing for what is most important, namely the start of the championship,” explained Caute.

Another 2024 signing was Enderson Moreira, who also received public recognition.
Following the presentation, fans were able to enjoy the friendly match between Cristal and Universidad Católica de Chile, where the beer team emerged victorious 4-0.
The Moreira-led side needed just four minutes to take the lead through Yoshimar Yotún, who volleyed a cross and sent it into the back of the Chilean goal.

Universidad Católica was unable to deal with the goal as Parot, attempting to clear a cross, sent the ball into his own goal with a header in the 10th minute.
The goal show didn't stop in the first half either. In the 23rd minute, Joao Grimaldo appeared to score a great goal after hitting the ball from outside the penalty area to score the third goal for the Celestials.
In the second half, Santiago González sealed the Celestials' victory with a header in the 50th minute. From that moment on, Cristal played the game until the end without any problems.
