After Santos Escobar betrayed Rey Mysterio a few weeks ago, Carlito vowed to avenge the 48-year-old legend. In order to do this, A match between Santos Escobar and Carlito was planned for Survivor Series 2023.
Carlito was scheduled to wrestle his first match at a WWE Premium Live event (excluding Royal Rumble 2021 and Fastlane 2023) in thirteen years.
Oh, Carlito is injured and needs to be replaced for this weekend’s PLE. In fact, Carlito came to the SmackDown ring on the eve of Survivor Series, but there was a fight with Santos Escobar. A fight so fierce that Carlito was injured and unable to attend the next day’s event.
Eventually, Nick Aldis – General Manager of SmackDown – announced that the match had to be postponed and that Santos Escobar finally faces Dragon Lee at Survivor Series :
This one could steal the show.

As far as we know, this is a fake injury to advance the plot. Carlito, like Rey Mysterio, wouldn’t really be hurt.
The WWE Survivor Series 2023 will take place on the night of Saturday to Sunday from 2:00 a.m. French time and we will experience it together on Pull out.
