After two years of guessing with the pandemic and the many room closures, 2023 looks set to be the year of a return to humorous normalcy. The proof ? There are no fewer than 11 comedy shows launching in Quebec through mid-May.

It’s hard to believe that Maude Landry will be launching her very first solo show this winter, as the comedian has been a presence at every booth for many years. In L’Involution, Maude treats himself to a therapy session in front of an audience that involves searching for meaning and letting go. January 24 at the Gesù in Montreal and February 22 at the Grand Théâtre de Québec.

Directed by Joël Legendre, the show aims to showcase the universe of the comedian, who graduated from the National School of Humor in 2014, and her Gaspé Awignahan. On January 31st and February 1st at the Olympia in Montreal and on February 21st at the Salle Albert-Rousseau in Quebec City.
