The Lakers give up center DeAndre Jordan, DJ Augustine; 76ers are expected to pursue the big man, according to the report
The Los Angeles Lakers made some changes to their list before the last period of the season. In Tuesday, announced the team the addition of DJ Augustin, as well as striker Wenyen Gabriel, with whom they signed a two-way contract. To make room for veteran points, the Lakers gave up reserve big man DeAndre Jordan. By replacing Jordan with Augustine, the Lakers are clearly focusing on the guard’s game and shooting, as opposed to the game after.
Jordan has played in 32 games for the Lakers this season and played 12.8 minutes. Augustine played in 34 games for the Houston Rockets, but the team turned him down earlier this month. Given the fact that he is a 38 percent scorer in his career from long distances, it is not surprising to see a team like the Lakers take him for their playoff boost.
