A TikTok star, who shared her life on social media platform TikTok after being diagnosed with stage IIIC ovarian cancer eight years ago, has lost her battle with the disease.
Haley Odlozil, 30, passed away earlier this week. The news was shared by her heartbroken husband Taylor, who often appeared in her videos.
Taylor shared the great sorrow and sorrow he and his entire family felt after the untimely death of his wife.
Describing Haley’s relentless struggle to survive, Taylor recounted her deep love for him, her son Weston, her family and friends, which ultimately strengthened her resolve to live.
“It is with incredible sadness that I tell you all that my sweet Haley has passed away. “I can’t begin to describe the heartache and sorrow that I and our entire family are going through,” he wrote in an online statement.

The couple had been together since high school in 2008 and received the devastating news of Haley’s terminal cancer diagnosis just before their wedding in 2015
“I never thought my heart could hurt physically. I’ve never seen anyone fight so hard to survive. Her love for me, Weston, her family and friends has kept her going for so many years especially the last 8 months.
“I am so blessed to have Haley in my life for 16 years. “It was a true honor to take care of her,” Taylor wrote.
The couple had been together since 2008, while they were still in high school, and received the devastating news of Haley’s terminal cancer diagnosis just before they exchanged wedding vows in late 2015.
In 2019, Haley and Taylor welcomed four-year-old son Weston into the world via surrogate.
Weston also appeared frequently in her TikTok content, allowing viewers to see the strong family ties between the trio.

Taylor shared his deep gratitude for having Haley a part of his life over the past 16 years.
The TikTok captions always included the date of the video, as well as the ever-reassuring message that “Haley is still fighting.”
The updates garnered the support of millions of followers who have been following Haley’s cancer journey closely.
In a touching video filmed in May, Haley’s hospice nurse presented her baby boy with a Build-A-Bear stuffed animal containing a recording of Haley’s heartbeat.

Weston, now four years old, was often seen at his mother’s bedside
Haley shared how Weston called the stuffed animal his “bear mom” and found comfort in cuddling it before bed.
“If you can’t see mom or feel mom, then where am I?” Hayley would ask, to which Weston would reply, “In my heart.”
The hospice also gave Taylor a framed copy of the heartbeat recording.
Following Hayley’s death, Taylor stated that he and his son will be taking an indefinite break from social media to give themselves time to grieve.
“I need some time to get along with my son,” he wrote.
