Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, writes a heartfelt birthday message to granddaughter Blue Ivy on her 11th birthday: “You are so very special!”

Beyoncé’s mom Tina Knowles was the doting grandmother in every way as she wished her granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter a happy birthday on Sunday.

The 11-year-old, who once bid $85,000 for a pair of diamond earrings, looked almost as tall as her 5ft 7in grandmother in a photo Tina, 69, shared of the pair on social media.

The fashion designer looked hip in a black and white polka dot jumpsuit with sleeves and legs rolled up as she stood on the beach with her granddaughter.

The young singer, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother Beyoncé, wore a classic black blazer over a white top and pants. The tween styled her hair in loose curls and wore cool wire frame sunglasses.

In her heartfelt message, Tina shared that the day Blue Ivy was born was one of the best days of her life and she admitted she was hoping the girl would arrive on her birthday, January 4th

But: ‘Now that I know you and your personality, I realize that you needed your own tag because you were such a queen and you are so very special!’

She listed her granddaughter’s many talents, many of which she seemed to inherit from her mother, and her father Jay-Z, 53.

Grammy Award: Blue won her first Grammy at age nine for her collaboration with Beyonce on the Brown Skin Girl video.  The win made her the second youngest Grammy winner in history (pictured in Los Angeles in July 2019).
