There have been suggestions that the couple – whose romance has become a major topic of conversation during the NFL season – could be engaged just months after their relationship went public.

However, TMZ reports that there is no proposal “in the near future.” This is despite claims that Travis could be on the rocks this summer.

TMZ also claimed that there were actually doubts among some people “on the inside” about whether the relationship would work out.

It is said that certain people close to the couple insist that it is still too early to say whether they will ever move beyond this “honeymoon” dating phase.

With Swift's international tour resuming in February, the pop sensation will be traveling abroad for several months.

It comes after the couple reportedly had a lovers' quarrel for the first time following the Chiefs' loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day.

According to Life & Style, Kelce snapped at Swift on Christmas Day when the couple clashed.

Sources denied there was an argument after Kelce was seen with a stone-faced expression in exclusive photos obtained by Dailymail.com.

When asked by Fox News for his opinion on the Swift rush in football at the moment, the 68-year-old said: “That's what discourages people in sports these days, there's so much that comes in from the outside – entertainment value and different things.” .

“It takes away from what’s actually happening on the field.”
