methodology

The 2024 Presidential Greatness Project Expert Survey was conducted online via the Qualtrics platform between November 15 and December 31, 2023.

525 respondents were invited to participate, of which 154 responded helpfully, corresponding to a response rate of 29.3%.

The aim of the research was to create a ranking of presidential “greatness” that included all presidents from George Washington to Joe Biden.

To do this, respondents rated each president on a scale of 0 to 100 for overall greatness, with 0 representing failure, 50 representing average, and 100 representing greatness. Each president's ratings were then averaged.
