Jo Hell, 45, from Montreal, is a professional musician. He spent his life playing guitar – he began performing in bars at the age of 16 – and even lived in the southern United States for about fifteen years, regularly visiting stages in Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas. He was particularly in the spotlight on stage with Buddy Miles, Jimi Hendrix's drummer, and pianist Pinetop Perkins.
To seduce the trainers of La Voix, Jo Hell, who released several albums throughout his career, performed the piece Who Do You Love? Bo Diddley pulled out all the stops. His voice is warm and powerful and his energy was infectious.
While Jo Hell waits to see the full result this Sunday, she is performing in Montreal this Saturday and Saint-Joseph-du-Lac next Friday. The information is available on its website.
