A few months ago, Lana Del Rey was spotted behind the counter of a Waffle House in uniform, leading to a viral moment when photos and a video of her apparently working at the chain circulated on social media.
As the singer confirmed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the events occurred during a more than week-long stay in Florence, Alabama. The artist stated that she was with her brother and sister and that she had been to this Waffle House several times before the video was recorded.
“We were in our third period [ese día] and the waiters asked us: “Would you like t-shirts?” “Of course! We were thrilled,” Lana told The Hollywood Reporter.
Lana told the media that she was “serving a man, a regular customer, who comes every day and asks for two things.”
“I brought him a Coca-Cola. Without ice. And an empty glass… for dipping. “I haven’t seen anyone take me in,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
On the other hand, the outlet reported that Del Rey reflected on the excitement that the Waffle House photos caused compared to the boom that her last album, “Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd,” had experienced so far, and the Differences in it from the way it was recorded a decade ago.
“I wish my album had gone as viral. The next morning I woke up to about 10,000 messages, some from people I hadn’t heard from in ten years. ‘I saw your photo at the Waffle House,’ they said. And I “Have you heard the new album?” the artist told The Hollywood Reporter.
