So what to expect on June 5th?
So what to expect on June 5th? According to Apple to an avalanche of innovations. Everything is broadcast on the Apple website and even on YouTube. You can rewatch this historical moment as many times as you like in case you missed the moment when the greatness of the new MacBook was announced.
The keynote will be followed by a Platforms State of the Union developer briefing, where Apple will explain how their new tools can make their applications even better. And to end the day in style, Apple will present its Design Awards. They reward creatives and developers who have made the most of their platforms.
The big rumor for this year is the announcement of Apple’s augmented reality headset. Basically, they would get into what they like to call “mixed reality” dancing. That’s a nice way of saying they’re going to try AR and VR. Rumors point to a thin, lightweight headset, sporting OLED screens and running a variant of the M2 processor. It should even support iPad apps. And all for the modest sum of $3,000.
There are still many question marks surrounding the headset, including whether it will actually be unveiled at the event, but the official images surrounding the event point to some sort of mixed reality announcement.
