This shelter is designed to serve as a sanctuary for pets that have been neglected, abused, abandoned, or have special needs. It will provide them with an environment of love and care, as well as food, necessary medical care and rehabilitation, the official said.
Sweeting praised BAARK’s admirable work in reducing the number of roaming animals while developing the spaying campaign for more than 23,000 dogs and cats, according to digital portal Tribune 242.
For almost 14 years, the national body has carried out numerous educational projects with the aim of raising awareness of care and well-being at a national level.
