The new plot of this second season is rich in emotions: Pascale (Aubin), a 35-year-old mother, has just committed something irreparable by poisoning her two children. While seven-year-old Madeleine (Agathe Ledoux) survives, four-year-old Henri succumbs. Having recently been separated from her husband (Mickaël Gouin), Pascale seems to embody the stereotype of the jealous and abandoned woman who would have tried to kill her children in revenge. But what if reality was more complex? Together, psychiatrist Éliane Sirois (Sophie Cadieux), detective sergeant Boisvert (Martin Dubreuil), who comes out of retirement specifically for this case, and criminal lawyer Michelle Simon (Sharon James) will work diligently to understand this mother's thoughts.
