In a TikTok post titled “Woman Leaves Baby in Car to Go to Starbucks,” Melissa Joy Ledman was stunned that a toddler ended up alone in a hot vehicle in Oregon.
Melissa confronted the alleged perpetrator in the branch.
“You really should bring your baby in, the windows are open,” we hear.
“It doesn’t matter,” replies the customer in the excerpt published on June 24.
Ms. Joy Ledman implored Starbucks employees to call 911.
As soon as she was arrested, the client appeared to get into her vehicle to avoid trouble.
The video has been viewed nearly a million times.
Given the many reactions, the user provided more details in a new video.
“She parked next to me. I saw the toddler in the car as soon as it pulled away [Starbucks] […] The police have been notified. Unfortunately, they didn’t show up on site, they didn’t contact me,” she laments.
“If she’s done it once, she’s probably done it a million times.”
Melissa Joy Ledman was contacted by the Daily Dot media and declined to comment on the situation.
