Sweets, Siena, inheritance and a heavy last name: the legal battle over Danilo’s inheritance is over Nanini (1921-2007), patron of the candy brand (now no longer owned by the family) that manufactured sienna World famous for its typical specialties such as Panforte and Ricciarelli. Ultimately, the decision of the civil judge in the case initiated by the eldest son Guido Nannini in October 2019 was not necessary because the three brothers – the others – are the rockers Gianna Nannini and Alessandro, entrepreneur and former Formula 1 driver, have reached an agreement the content of which is confidential. This is what «La Nazione» writes today.
Nannini legacy, the story
“I am pleased that this agreement has ended a dispute between the brothers and laid the foundation for relations between them to be peaceful and collaborative,” said lawyer Fabio Pisillo, who supports Alessandro Nannini. The dispute in court, reconstructed as “La Nazione”, arose on the initiative of the eldest of three children, the entrepreneur Guido, who was born in 1949 and who, through the Roman lawyer Valerio Vallefuoco, campaigned legally for the history of the will of the mother Giovanna Cellesi (1923 -2014) and the Certosa di Belriguardo (an agricultural estate about 7 km from Siena), the transfer of which she contested to her sister Gianna, assisted by the lawyer Antonella Rizzi. However, Guido Nannini had also questioned the other brother Alessandro, albeit because of his mother Giovanna’s donations.

A delicate and complex judicial matter, which took place in the utmost secrecy, but which, according to La Nazione, had led to numerous witnesses coming to the civil judge of the Court of Siena, Clara Ciofetti, to clarify the matter and also to obtain technical advice arrange , entrusted to Maurizio Refrigeri of Perugia on December 22, 2021 and deemed essential for the settlement of the inheritance dispute.
The judge had asked the technician to arrive at the departmental projects by formulating two hypotheses: first, the calculation that takes into account the assets subject to a donation and contracts that may have concealed a donation, and second, the calculation where these may be excluded.

Against this background, the judge could have judged whether this was the case a breach of legal inheritance. Technical advice began and there were also some inspections, but eventually the advisor attempted mediation, always writing La Nazione, and a confidential agreement was reached between the three brothers that settled the legal case.
